We are only three weeks into the NFL season, and there is already a lot to discuss… From Joe Burrow's injury, which appears to be a major setback for the Bengals' season, to the Chargers' 3-0 start for the first time in 23 years. The Bills had an incredible Monday night win to start the season as one of four 3-0 teams.
The underdog in the Cleveland Browns led their way to a 55-yard game-deciding field goal and hit it against the titan team of the Green Bay Packers. A game of many excitements, such as one of three blocked field goals, this Sunday.
The powerhouse defense in the Denver Broncos could not defend one team: the Los Angeles Chargers. In a record-setting game, the Chargers mounted a final-minute rally to tie and ultimately win the game. The 27-year-old quarterback Justin Herbert passed Drew Bledsoe as the youngest QB to get 2000 career completions, which he achieved in just 82 games.
In the final seconds of the Rams-Eagles game, Jordan Davis blocked a winning field goal attempt and then ran the blocked ball for a touchdown. This also happened in the Jets-Bucs game with Will Donald running for a touchdown. Although in this case, the Buccaneers won this game.
The Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans, New York Jets, and Tennessee Titans are all 0-3. If I were to think about this, I would not expect to see the Houston Texans, the number one-ranked defense in all of fantasy football, as a playoff team on this list.
For the Fantasy football fans: Jonathan Taylor and Tre Tucker have been incredible this week. Tre Tucker had an incredible 40-point (PPR) game, the first this season. And Jonathan Taylor averages 20 carries per game and is one of the key factors in this Colts' rebirth.
As the NFL teams are finding their footing, games will have incredible and unexpected endings. This season could go down in history, from fantasy to field goals. I hope you get excited about this year to come!
