Team Norway Claims Victory at the Olympic Games

At the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano‑Cortina, Norway topped the medal table, with the United States finishing second and the Netherlands third. 

For Team USA, the Games were a major success, highlighted by a dramatic men’s hockey victory over Canada, sealed by an overtime goal from Jack Hughes; the U.S.’s first Olympic hockey gold since 1980. 

Israel competed across several events but did not medal, including a bobsleigh team that was withdrawn due to a rules issue. The next Olympics will take place in Los Angeles in 2028.
